My humble tribute to Jack Kirby (1917-1994) The definitive comic book artist, a true legend and designer of the most recognizable superheroes of all time. Between all the movies, toys, video games and merch, Jack co-created the most lucrative intellectual properties in history. Characters like Captain America, Thor, Ironman, Hulk, Professor X, Magneto and more. It wasn’t just his aesthetics that would endure for decades, it was fight scenes that would leap from the page, dynamic angles and strange, immersive worlds that would cement his legacy and inspire generations. I poured over his classic comics and selected panels to recreate in stunning acrylic neon colors. Each piece is tagged with the comic, page and panel where you can find the source of inspiration.
