It’s almost the end of June and this is my first blog post of the year. One of my resolutions was to post more, so obviously—we’re right on track.

It’s election season, and everywhere I look, the two major parties are waging their own war of words. For me, this time of year brings up a real sense of isolation.

About a decade ago, if you’d walked into almost any business from North Portland to Battleground, you would have found a stack of The Vancouver Vector by the door.

Recently, I had the incredible honor of winning first place at the Vancouver Arts and Music Festival!

I can’t remember a time without Hip-Hop in my life. The cinematic masterpiece Breakin’ formally introduced me to the culture.
